In Benidorm, the list with the most votes in the 2023 general election was PP, with 40.3 % of the valid vote, ahead of PSOE (33.5 %). Turnout was 65.1 %: 27,726 of 42,612 registered voters. In 2019 the list with the most votes had been PSOE, with 31.2 %.
